“It was thanksgiving break and i remember me and her were holding hands in her car. We were so cold and we kept trying to warm each other up. we held each other for about 6 hours waiting for her mom to come home from visiting family since she left her house keys in her moms car. this was the first time i ever flew to see her and this was my favorite part, well other than actually being able to see her and touch her and be able to kiss her. we listened to mixed cds that we made for each other. i remember we kept singing along to each song and you told me i was a beautiful singer although i know im not. i remember talking about marriage that night. i remember saying that we would never part. i remember looking at the people staring at us while we kissed on the hood of your car. i remember looking up at the sky and admiring the stars. i remember when the clock in her car struck 11:11 and she said “i already got my wish”. i remember just wishing that this moment would never end. i loved that we spent all that time together and even if our fingertips were freezing, you still held me. i loved everything about that night…that’s love.” —
